There will be a branch social on Friday 31st October to celebrate the launch of the book - and Charlie [and Mark] will be on hand for a chat, a bit of Q & A and of course you will be able to buy a signed copy!

Location: The Offside Bar which has a LATE license.

Time: 7pm to late

Tickets are £7:50 including buffet supper. Please send a cheque and S.A.E. to Tracey Travels at the usual address.

A night out with Niall and Charlie

We were honoured to welcome Niall Quinn and Charlie Hurley as our guests for the evening!

We took over the fantastic Dial Square suite in the Emirates stadium and absolutely packed it to the rafters with London Branch members and guests. Both Niall and Charlie entertained us with some fantastic stories, there were the inevitable renditions of "Niall Quinn's taxi cabs are the best" and the beer flowed.

We also took the opportunity to recognise two of our founder members - Ian Todd and John Linin.

Our president, Steve Cram, and new Vice President, Denise Robertson as came along to help us celebrate.

Branch socials

The Branch has a good relationship with Sunderland Football Club which has resulted in regular appearances of the team/management at Branch socials.

Whilst we have missed a couple of seasons, the committee are now working with Niall and co. to re-establish the relationship. This, our 40th anniversary year, provides a great opportunity to do so....

Informal get togethers

Now that an increasing number of members have shared their email addresses with us, it has been suggested that we look to set up some more informal and local get togethers across London - so members can meet other Sunderland fans leaving near by, maybe for a few beers or to watch Sunderland on the box.

The committee live across London and the south east so will make sure we come along too - so you can tell us your ideas for socials, or any other improvements you want to see.

We'll be giving this a go in the coming months, so if this sounds good, make sure we've got your email address!
